Long Island Veterinary Specialists (LIVS) in Plainview, NY is seeking Emergency Veterinarians to join our growing Emergency Department. We offer a fully equipped ICU that is staffed 24 hours and directed by a board certified critical care specialist. This position offers a three day work week and keeps quality of life at the forefront.
Our veterinary specialty and emergency center is a bustling 30,000 square ft., well-established AAHA certified specialty hospital that has been serving our community for almost 20 years. With a staff of over 150 enthusiastic professionals, the Emergency Clinician at LIVS will work amongst published, world-renowned specialists in a variety of disciplines including Behavior Medicine, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Critical Care, Surgery, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. Our diagnostic technologies including a G.E. LOGIQ Vet S8 Ultrasound, Storz HD endoscopy system, Philips 3 Tesla MRI, Siemens Sensation 16 multi-detector CT scanner, three Idexx blood lab stations, and two digital radiography suites, as well as a dedicated ultrasound for the emergency service and an in-house fluoroscopy suite.
LIVS is located in Nassau County, Long Island; which offers both the big city and small town feeling.
