City of Eugene Cultural Services is currently recruiting for 2 Senior Administrative Specialists; 1 full-time and 1 part-time. The full-time position performs a variety of administrative duties requiring the application of advanced clerical skills in support of the Hult Center Manager and staff. The part-time position provides support to the Cultural Services Director and team located at the Atrium. Each position serves as back-up to the other position in regards to divisional operations support. This recruitment may also be used to fill future vacancies.
The Senior Administrative Specialist (SAS) is considered the hub of the Cultural Services Division and Hult Center offices and is integral to day-to-day operations. The Senior Administrative Specialist performs a variety of complex and specialized administrative support duties requiring the application of advanced clerical skills and a thorough understanding of department programs, processes, and procedures; exercises independent judgment and discretion associated with high level administrative work.

Three years of increasingly responsible and skilled experience in providing clerical and administrative support duties; specific program knowledge desirable.
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Post secondary course work in office assistant or administrative assistant areas desirable.
License or Certificate:
A valid Oregon driver's license.
Other combinations of education and experience that meet the minimum qualifications may be substituted.
Work in this class is done generally in an office environment. May be required to sit, keyboard, write, hear and speak for extended periods. Work includes operating a variety of office equipment. Work activities include bending, stooping, and kneeling. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
